PNW Hockey Talk was founded by Joshua Critzer and is a site dedicated to providing hockey content from passionate contributors. We are committed to covering hockey in the Pacific Northwest and doing so the correct way.
Our team focuses on primarily covering the Portland Winterhawks organization; however, occasionally you'll see articles covering the WHL's U.S. Division or other happenings impacting Oregon and Washington hockey.
Many sites are filled with auto-play videos, numerous advertisements, and pop-ups. We strive to provide a clean experience with minimal advertising wherever possible. Fans come to engage with our content, not get bombarded with unwanted ads.

Josh Critzer
Founder/Beat ReporterJosh is the founder of PNW Hockey Talk. His primary focus is the Portland Winterhawks. The 2022-2023 season will be Critzer's fifth year covering the team.
Brandon Rivers
Co-Founder/Content ManagerBrandon is a co-founder of PNW Hockey Talk and is our Content Manager. He will contribute articles for many teams as well as his "Five for Reading" blog.
Josh Horton
Co-Founder/Managing EditorJosh is our Managing Editor for the site and may provide an occasional column.
Andy Kemper
Content ContributorAndy is the former Play-By-Play/Color Analyst and current Team Historian for the Portland Winterhawks. He posts throughout the year to his "After the Whistle" blog.
